The Process
1. Determination of install location.
With one quick call and the help of satellite imagery, we can usually get a great understanding of where you are hoping to install you charger. We may discuss logistics with the location or offer suggestions. In the end, it is entirely your decision.

2. Load Calculations.
If you are comfortable doing so, we will ask you to send us a 2 to 3 pictures of your electrical panel. This will help us determine how much useable power you have and how fast of a charger can be installed without expensive service upgrades. Our electricians will always come out to verify this (and other site conditions) once you have agreed on a proposal. or if you are unable to or uncomfortable providing these pictures.

3. Estimate is prepared and sent.
We can now prepare a quote that is 95% accurate for your review. If the estimates look good, you can sign an agreement that states you are ready to proceed, assuming we are able to get official rebates, incentive and net prices we quoted. We ask for this commitment because we are now about to begin a LOT of time consuming work and only so many chargers are incentivized each year.
4. Project prepared and submitted for incentive authorization.
One of our electricians will visit your site to confirm our assumptions and look for anything that might be challenging during install. Then we must research, create and submit a tremendous amount of paper work for the utility and town. This includes site plans, detailed wiring diagrams, engineering calculations and more. All these plus the application, specification sheets, usage predictions, etc etc must be uploaded to the program dashboard. Then we wait for the approval and incentive reservation letter which usually come in 5-10 days.

5. Approval & contract confirmed.
In most cases, the approved incentives and estimate (after our site visit) stay the same. If so, we can move forward with your official contract, permit filing and installation planning. Together we will put together a timeline and schedule insure a smooth installation. In the rare event of an unexpected change of incentive / price that we can not absorb, you have the right to cancel your commitment and release your spot to someone else.

6. Installation.
Most installation take 2-4 days. Power disruption is rarely needed and if so, is only for minutes. Day one usually consist of digging any trenches and installing the conduit and charger base. Day two is trying the the circuit and installing the charger. Day 3 (and 4 if needed) is signage / spot marking and cleanup.

7. Wrap up.
Once installation is scheduled we will plan startup / commissioning and your training. A team member will help you understand the operations of the physical charger and the management software. Final paperwork including federal tax credit forms will be delivered. Any balances due are expected to paid at this point.
